I have to apologize for my absence on my blog. I had a difficult situation going on in my life for a few months ad quite honestly found myself at a real loss. The situation has resolved it's self and I am feeling better and am ready to post a blog.

Summer Vacation:Visiting Family

Victor

This week we have been on vacation visiting family in Indiana. I have been so lucky to spend time with my precious nephew Victor he is 15 months and so darn cute. I have enjoyed every second spent with him. I will post some more photo's soon. Have a great week everybody!

Happy Birthday Dylan

It's hard to belive it has been 16 years since my bouncing baby boy was born. Dylan was 9lbs 5oz when he was born , we were all amazed at our big baby boy. Dylan is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Thoughtful, soft spoken , excellent with children, patient, creative, smart. I could go on and on. Dylan has grown in leaps and bounds the past year, now the same height as my husband and shoe size I think he may pass Dave in height. It's such a wierd thing when your kids are bigger than you. It;s like " Hey, how did that happen?"
Happy 16th Dylan! You are Awesome and I love ya buddy!

Happy Birthday Lily!

Today is my daughter Lily's 9th Birthday!! Happy,Happy Birthday my sweet Lily!
Lily is such a joy I enjoy her everyday she is thoughtful and kind, creative and motivated. I can hardly wait to see what she grows up to be, but for now let's be 9 and play build a bear and little pet shop. Love you girl...

Exciting News : Stella Jane & Friends Showroom

I am so excited to announce an exciting new development I am opening a showroom in Atlanta at the America's Mart on the 13th floor 13N312B. It is so much fun planning all this out, I am inviting 5 lines in with me all lines that reflect the innocence of childhood.
I will be posting some photos next week and when I have my 5 other lines I will make our showroom master list announcement.I am over the moon with our line up so far!
So much to do....
Oh, and all the new fabrics are arriving for Spring 09 . Love, love, love it all

Atlanta Gift Show July 11-15

CMA Music Festival June 5-8

My daughter's and I headed out of town June 5th after my daughter finsihed her last final and made it to Nashville by 7pm for the 1st nightly concert of the CMA Festival. If you like country music this is a must event for you. We had a blast everyday saw all these amazing stars Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill, Keith Urban,Rascal Flatts,Sara Evans,Miranda Lambert, Kellie Pickler, Chuck Wicks. I could go on and on , but I think you get the idea. Fun, Fun, Fun

Bluefield

I hope everyone had a relaxing and peaceful Memorial Day weekend. We certainly did here , I wanted to share some photos with you from Sunday. My daughter (the redhead)has a very dear friend who lives in lower Ohio and we live in upper South Carolina so they organized a way for us mom's to each drive 3.5 hours and meet in this town in West Virgina, Bluefield. They are working on a project for an upcoming concert for their favorite singer Taylor Swift.
Bluefield was a beautiful small town nestled in the mountains and we were lucky enough to find this park that had a quite stream and huge trees for shade. it was such a relaxing day and the girls got to spend time together before we all meet in Nashville in a week and a half. I hope you enjoy these pics.

Retailer of the Month: Lollipop Decor

Today I visited a new store in Davidson, NC Lollipop Decor a lovely new shop that has beautiful children's furniture (cribs, cradles, beds, dressers) beautiful bedding's & accessories. There are also a number of apparel lines(including Stella Jane) all inspired in fabric and color.

Inspire Me Friday!

Today I was so Inspired when I clicked in to check on my blog friend Sarah Jane. What a delight she is and a inspiration on many levels she is an awesome mom, very thoughtful and appricates very moment with her sweet little children and uses them in her art. Then there is the art which fills me with joy!
When I saw this one this morning it brought a smile to my face and joy to my heart. If you are a Stella Jane regular you know what a passion I have for polka dots!!!

A few of my favorite things...

I am crazy for Anthropologie they have the most amazing things! Just the smell when you walk(float) into one of the stores carries you away to a magical place. I swear I could kill 1/2 a day in there. That's why I also love to shop on line with Anthropologie.com

Then there is CSI MIAMI which I love, love, love. I am a CSI Miami Junkie, I am still in shock from last nights episode. Yikes, it was the season finale so it's going to be a while before we know how that works out.
